'Again and Again' is a meditation on the power of repetition. Each mark distills nature into its simplest form. One stroke. One movement. Repeated slowly and deliberately until something whole begins to take shape. I didn’t draw moss or leaves directly. Instead, I focused on the rhythm beneath them. The pattern that gives rise to their form.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how nothing really exists in isolation. Everything is a result of something that came before. A tree, a patch of moss, even a person. We are all built from patterns layered over time. Shaped again and again by what we’ve lived through.

This drawing is an invitation to pause. To notice the small things. To find meaning in the quiet work of building something with care.
